An outing for the Autumn.

Visiting London for exhibitions and gardens is always a treat.

The Chinese Art exhibition at the V&A had a variety of paintings from many dynasties.

The attention to detail in  the drawings of houses and their  inhabitants raised gasps of delight.

Other drawings in black and white showed tranquil scenes of the countryside.

Autumn in the Chelsea Physic Garden was drawing to  a close.

However, the layout of the beds of medicinal plants was very interesting.

I found seed heads, flowers and trees with unusual bark.

New beds are being constructed.

The flurry of work being done by the gardeners suggests that another visit would be very worthwhile.

Visit such as these are always rewarding.
