This is my reaction to the Hockley exhibition at Tate Britain .
There is, if only you get chance to see it.
The exhibition was over subscribed.
This made it impossible to view the work.
It was worse than trying to view gardens at the RHS Chelsea flowers show.
The landscapes were amazing.
As were the life drawings.
I was glad that I had seen a TV programme about his work.
It was impossible to study the work.
Maybe there has been overkill on this.
I expect the promoters are much happier than the professionals ,who wanted to gain some professional development from this experience.
The Tate needs to get the balance right.
