A fair deal: Fair trade.

Shared Interest aims to alleviate poverty by enabling people in remote and disadvantaged communities to trade and earn a living.

They lend money to farmers to buy seeds and fertilisers.

When the farmers sell their products they can pay back the loan.

Participants include:

Cocoa, fruit and vegetable farmers.

The developed world can aid  undeveloped countries by funding these participants. The investment is worth it.

At the end of Fair Trade Week

perhaps some of you will want to look into how you can help.
