Let Nature be your guide:

Earlier this month I was on The Isle Of Wight.

The weather was not really suitable for lying on a beach!

However, many very good walks gave me ideas for garden design.

Coastal scenery  has sand  ,grassy hummocks and pebble beaches.

Plants include Thrift and White Campion.

Inland walks along leafy lanes are quite different.

Here grassy banks are smothered in “Heart’s Tongue Fern” and Pulmonaria.

We can use these very natural conditions as design ideas for are own gardens.

This is a super way of preserving the holiday memories at home.

So   why not take pictures of these and use them when you get come.

Happy Holidays!
